Hey there!

right! here goes!

i am making a new website and i want to include some php as i know how much it can help!
there are some questions that i am in dire need of answering please help!

is there any way i can test a php script without it being online? i have a form mailer but no idea if it works its all in and ready to go.
iam running my res as high as it will go and i know for a fact that people viewing my page wont have it set very high. is there a way other than making the whole site in php i can have the size of the page limeted depending on the screen res. i meen the middle bit of the page shrinks not the important navigational parts?? make sense? if not
how do i go about making my site using php? i am by no meens a complete newbie! i know my html and VB and access.
yes theres more! i am thinking of using a large forum like phpBB for my site, but dont know how to install it on the web? any help?

please please help! i am stuck at a this hurdle and until i get over it my web authering skills are wasted!

A: If you don't have a development environment, then no. How about you test using your own email.

A: this isn't php but standard html/css stuff, visit http://www.richinstyle.com for how to set your page up to a specific size. The standard size seems to be 800x600. You can control this in the body tag.
how do i go about making my site using php?
A: check out some of the tutorials and articles at this site and others, decide what you need and "Just do it!"

A: frighteningly simple, upload the files, run install.php and follow the instructions. Couldn't believe how simple it was when I did it. You will need your html/css skills to modify the .tpl template files but it should be a doddle if you have html skills.
