new to SSL

My website host has PHP/MySQL and 128-bit virtual SSL access.

I am encrypting my login form password but would like the added security of using SSL.

I've never used SSL before -- how do I get started? How do I set my form up to use it? How does it work? Is there an FAQ or newbie-to-SSL tutorial anywhere that I can read?

Any help and starting points will be appreciated.

If the server you are working on is configured to use SSL, simply refer to your
files with https like this ...
https://www.whatever.com/myfile.php
