Hi there everybody, I need some brief ideas on designing a fancy image gallery. Okay I am wondering if I link a thumbnail image to either a pop-up window or the same window,in order to show the fullsize image, does it make sense?A couple days ago, I saw some comments about the disadvantages of linking the thumbnail image to a page: a user has to click 'back',and thus the browser might has to continue reloading the thumbnail page, as long as the user is navigating the image gallery. Any idea?

Have seen a similar thing at a clipart site with backgrounds. click the image and the page on the right gets the background. works well. With clever css you can make the page look much slicker.
