Long files in Oracle with php

Hi,

Has anybody worked with big files in Oracle and PHP?

how can I put some big files (movies) in an Oracle database with PHP?

How can I get them in? How can I get them out? A code example would help me a lot.

Hi Dan

First...don't store the movies in the DB..
second....don't store the movies in the DB.

you get the idea? The best way is to store the movies in a separate folder and store the path to the movie in the DB. Then when calling the movie details you get the path from the DB and place in the code to start the player...

reasons...large files cause DB bloat, slows performance
