I have created an Intranet. On the Intranet there is a Customer Search, where you can search the databases for our customers.
I have that working, and it gets all the customers that the search criteria meets.
BUT then i am wanting a Submit button with the value Submit and not $customer_name (because it looks rubbish and isnt good enough) or an image Submit value.
But i cant pass the $customer_name variable through to the next page. The only way i can do this is by putting the submit value in as $customer_name but this makes the page untidy.
If i put an image submit in and a <input type=\"hidden\" value=\"$customer_name\" name=\"customer_name\"> it only sends the of the customer's details for some reason!
THATS ONLY THE FIRST PART OF THE QUESTION.
Once i am in there, there is a page, with tabs at the top of the page which are linked to different pages in the same folder.
How do i keep the same variable so i can see the same customers details when click on the tab!
ie
Search for
Joe Bloggs Company. Submit Joe Bloggs Company,
Get the details for Joe Bloggs Company.
Then when i click the other tabs on the page, it comes back with the Joe Bloggs Details.
Please try and help, because this is a php problem that i have been trying to solve for a long time, and never been able to solve.
Thanks a LOT in advance.
