mail with php / SSL Apache

Hello there!

I hope you understand my english...
haven't used it for some time. ;-)

I would be very glad if you could help me with the following problem.

We've a changed an normal Apache to do SSL Connections. Since then I cannot send mails with PHP anymore!

There is nothing wrong with the php code, I tried several php files, but it didn't work.

Could anybody tell me how to configure sendmail / ssl / apache to make it possible to send mails?

Look in php.ini under [mail function]. Read the SMTP server put in there. That might be the wrong thing.

Thanks, but there seems to be everything allright! It did work before a colleague at work changed the server to do SSL.
If i send it from http://XXXXXXX.php
everything's allright, but with
https://XXXXXXX.php the mail command does not work!
