Running a Script on the Document

When some1 accesses a document, i want php to run a script passing that as a variable, basically the document is XML sorta, so that I can change the site design without changing all the files.

anyone know what variables I have to set for this? or is it not possible.

Alex-- uh, not real clear on what you're asking, but it sounds like: when someone retrieves a web page, I want to trigger a PHP script. Is that right?

If so... maybe you should just make the web page a .php file? :-)
