Several pull down menus

Hi there,
I have a catalog in which I have categories and sub-categories (stored in MySQL).
I could create a pull down menu with the main categories and then when one clicks on one of the main categories and press a "search" button, one gets a new page with a second pull down containing the sub-categories.

What I would like is to have a first menu with the main categories and as soon as one selects a category, the second pulldown menu (with sub-cats) appear.

I am a newbee, so I dont know if this is doable... and if my issue is at the right place!

That is more of a javascript issue. PHP is server side so is not able to do an "Onchange" event handler.

My suggestion to you would be to look at www.hotscripts.com where you may find a script to do that.
