The following code is a piece of html that is causing many problems for me.

Whenever it is executed the value of addressid is truncated at the first '&' character. How do I send the whole value to the php script?

you need to use the urlencode($str) function.

Also, you should not use quotes around the variable. This should work for you:

I just realized that this is more of an html issue than a php issue because the link is located in several html documents. I am looking for a way to not have to change the file extension while at the same time correcting the truncation issue.
