MySQL dropdown menu

It works fine.

One other quick one, I want to show this menu on the same page that the database displays in its entirity.

Do I need to connect to the database twice.
I suppose I do to run two queries !!

Also to when the make is selected from the menu, how do I submit that information to a results page, that would display only vehicles that are of the SELECTED make ?

Nope you don't need to connect twice. You can run as many queries as you would like with just one connection. Sequential langauges (i.e. PHP) run from top to bottom. Till you end php with the ?> then it will close the connection. Once you open it you can use it throughout your page. UNTIL it gets to a ?>.
