Please help!
In many scripts on the web that deal with PHP and Authorize.net, I have noticed that all of these type scripts are using CURL. The thing im not to sure of is why?
Would I still need CURL installed on my host's webserver if I was using SSL? For example, I have a PHP session object that handles my customers personal information (name, address, city, etc..) and when this person is ready to checkout / purchase items, can't I just pass the customer to the SSL (https) server where a php page resides as a form, then extract the personal info out of the session object and populate the fields on this page and then require the customer to enter the Credit card # and Expiration Date then finally submit? (Whew long winded) How would this not be encryped? Why would I need CURL? Im still confused, please help clear this up a bit.
Thanks in advance!
Steve
