PHP and Webservices

Is it my impression our is the PHP community completly unaware and not interested in the webservices "revolution"?

There´s J2EE (suported by sun, ibm, oracle, and open-source JBOSS...) and .NET (supported by... u know...), but... where´s PHP in all this?

Ok, the support for XML is good in PHP, but what about SOAP, UDDI, WSDL, and tools to helps develop webservices?

Am I wrong?
Are there any articles and tools on this subject?

SOAP, UDDI, WSDL, and other such technologies are available for PHP. I have two test bed boxes setup with PHP and SOAP, works perfectly. And no, the SOAP implementation is not written in PHP, it's in C and gets compiled in PHP. With it comes WSDL, but I'm not sure about UDDI.

PHP can work side-by-side with these so called 'web services' or work as them intirely. I see no reason for PHP to considered any less of a useful tool for big businesses. It's the skill of the programmer that counts, not the language itself.
