I am working on the system where users will upload MS Word files or other similar format. We need to change these files into HTML and/or TXT format.
I know this is somehow possible to do it. Our competitors can do that with following file types.
MS Word for Windows (all versions);
Word for Macintosh (V4.0,5.0 and 5.1);
MS Word for DOS (V3.x-6.0);
WordPerfect 5.x;
WordPerfect for MS-DOS (V4.0);
Works (V 3.0 and 4.0);
Lotus AmiPro for Windows (V3.x);
MS Write (V3.x);
WordStar for MSDOS (3.3-7.0);
WordStar for Windows (V1.0-2.0);
Rich Text Format;
HTML Format;
ClarisWorks;
Text format (.txt).
Yes there are ruuning linux and apache, dynamic pages rendered by Perl, I have feeling could be some C++ action in background.
We building all system using PHP.
