Error with Win98, Apache 2.0.39, & PHP4

I just upgraded to Apache 2.0.39 and now when I try starting it I get the following error:

APACHE.EXE module "c:\php4build\snap\sapi\apache2filter\sapi_apache2.c" is not compatible with this version of Apache.

And mentions contacting the vendor..

Note that PHP4 worked fine with Apache 2.0.36 and that the c:\php4build\etc. etc. directory doesn't even exist on my system.

Any help here would be appreciated..
