Does anybody know what is the maximum buffer size for GET method, I mean how many characters can be appended after the URL?

Max string length including URL is supposed to be 1024 characters (I think). But I've found that IE is 1/2 that, more or less, depending on version of IE.
POST is limited mainly by bandwidth 🙂
