php page is blank!!!

I have a problem --- any help will be much apreciated.
My application was working just fine, but now it seems like the server or the PHP engine will only output a section of my page. It doesn\'t return the full page to the browser. The the page is downloaded, it looks blank, but when you view the source, you can see that some of the HTML is there. It almost looks like the server or the PHP engine just gave up and didn\'t feel like outputting anymore. My script is by no means huge, but I even tried getting rid of some of the \"extraneous\" code and some of the heavy SESSION manipulation and its still doing it. I\'m working off of Apache1.3.19 - PHP 4.0.6 - HTTP 1.0. HELP!

Have you tried making a small testpage, just to see whether your installation is still ok?

Just a page with a simple phpInfo() call should do. If this works and outputs the expected result, there's something wrong with your code. If not, check your installation.

I tried that, and it worked, but there is NOTHING wrong with the code. It seems like the server or the PHP engine just gives up after it outputs some of the code. And it only does it sometimes. Other times, the page will load just fine.

When it does it on IE I get the error message:

Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site:
http://....../index.php?mode=find&............
The download of the specified resource has failed.
