I agree..editplus is quite good...whats the news about Phped?

Without doubt on the Windows platform it has to be Ultraedit (www.ultraedit.com).. be it for PHP, Perl or Java. On *nix I would still go for vi.

EditPlus is very good but you cannot preview php pages (Ctrl+😎.
I found an editor named Maguma studio.
It has preview for php pages.
It's very good but it has some problems with keyboard layout.
You can found it at www.maguma.com.
There is a free version of the editor and an enterprice version.
(It icludes php DBG listener).
I'll try ultraedit.

the best free one has go to be phpedit www.phpedit.com - the beta version is a vast improvment over the stable one - so it looks that in a short time this could easily beat most of the costly ones.

it has a build-in php parser which I find very good.

well that's just my opinion anyway 🙂
