Username/Password Authenticaion

Is it possible to send the username and password to a site that is asking for the network login? I know the site and realm that and I have the username and password but would like to have a php script automatically log into the site. The prompt box is similar to the Windows NT/2000. Any help would be great.

What function are you using to get the remote page? I believe http://username:[e-mail]/path/to/page.html will work, but I have never tried it before. If that fails, try Snoopy. Snoopy is an HTTP class for PHP which will do the job.
