Yes - I like the idea - but what I don't like is the huge file that Word produces. I am sure most of that is Microsoft garbage that you do not actually need.
This is really a reply to Samual Lim; but I do not seem to be able to post a message in that area.
It concerns his way of using Word and PHP together to produce an RTF file.

Such a huge file to produce "Hello World"; and to produce a single celled table with "Hello world" in it there is a mind-boggling amount of code. Actually what you do is not too difficult is it; but I just feel that I don't really need most of that stuff. It all needs slimmng down. All my users use IE and most are on 800 x 600 and fonts are pretty simple so I want slimmer code. Microsoft should go to weight-watchers.
I have bought Vadim Paggard's RTF_generator which I am thinking might be a good shortcut to save hours of work; not really tried it yet; but it looks cool.
I would be interested to know if you ar able to slim down that code.
