Executing PHP on Server

I just uploaded all my files via FTP to a server provided by web1000.com. After doing this long task, I then realized that PHP doesn't work on their servers. When I point my browser to the file, it simply displays the file as a text file, not executing it. Is there any possible way make it execute a script?

If you are sure they have PHP installed on the server and running, the folder permissions might not be set right. Make sure the permissions allow script access.

Some servers are set up to limit which file extensions execute as PHP files - tryu a few different extensions:

.php
.php3
.php4
.phtml
.shtml
etc

Thanks everybody for the input. Nothing really does the trick, so I'll just assume that they don't wish for me to use PHP.
