Change Ethernet address using php ?

Did anyone know a way to change my Mandrake , Ethernet address (eth0 / eth1) using a PHP script ?
Need be saved to when computer restart be back with new one inserted .

I know i can point to a /sysconfig and just change there , or make a ssh conection.

But i have a boss that don't want that =) , he want over browser using php (because it's more secure) change the Ip address from both ethernet cards .
And if is possible put a options to the eth0 card be in dhcp mode ......
Man....... I hate this ..

Hi,
the only way I know of is to use your exec commands and fiddling with you system's sudo file and permissions. Although you would not really want to do this since it will grant the web user total access over your inet settings.
