i have a file, let's call it links.html

Is is possible to use php, and parse through this links.html, and pick out all these links, and have php parse the content of each of these individual pages?
ie pares page1, then page 2, page3, and lastly page4?

Yes look up the file command

$page=file("http://yourserver.com/links.html");

%parse $page for href tag%
%create a $links array%
%$links will have something like %

%$links[0]=http://www.bumblebee.com/page1.html%
%$links[1]=http://www.bumblebee.com/page2.html%
%$links[2]=http://www.bumblebee.com/page3.html%
%$links[3]=http://www.bumblebee.com/page4.html%

for ($counter=0;$counter<count($links);$counter++) {
$link_output=file($links[$counter]);
}

%for each $link_output parse again%

etc.....
