Saving?

I am new to PHP, oly been learning ot 5 hours! hehe

I've made a form, which take's text. Once submit is hit, it is displayed on a new page with formatting applied, on it's own page.

THe problem is, once that page is closed, it's gone, is there anyway the page could then be saved.

And so they form effectively make's a new page.

You can have the form on the first page refer to itself and combine both pages into one. You add a hidden variable to the form to track the stage of the application.

IF cookie?
Show data

IF Stage=0
Form is displayed - when submitted it gives hidden variable Stage=1

IF Stage=1
Take form data and do your action.
OnLoad-> use php / javascript to write cookie or session into db to save it for future display.

You will have to have your pages look for cookie to grab data to use.

Or...
create a data file and append that file with the form data.
Depends on how much data you are working with.
