Results gone wrong!

Can someone check that for me?
I keep getting an error when I put in the address bar: http://www.mydomain.com/page.php?special=popstars

** You missed out the word "and" between news and special

Thanks SARAH, got it working by itself, but when I put it in an include string I get the following problems.

I have this in the include string:

include 'assests/includes/news-ticker.php?special=popstars';

include 'assests/includes/news-ticker.php?special=popstars';

should be

include ('assests/includes/news-ticker.php?special=popstars');

include is a function thus needs the ()

ie include($some_parameter)

I have included the ( and ) but still recieve the same error!

If you paste http://localhost/assests/includes/news-ticker.php?special=popstars into the browser address what happens?

include is used for opening local files.
What you're trying to do is to include results of other script into your own.

1) If this script is on other server, use fopen command

2) If it's your own script, skip the Query string. Variable "special" will be visible in the script you're trying to include as is.
