Randomize function in PHP

Hi programmers

help me to simulate the function that is in VB/ASP to get the randomize function....

i want to generate random numbers in PHP and the numbers generate the number that is generated in VB / ASP

Equivalent function in PHP for randomize in VB/PHP...

i.e the code written in PHP should give the exact result as that of randomize in VB / PHP

Please help me in this regard.
