print multiple lines

Hi All
In Perl I can do this

print <<END
text
more text
more text
etc.
END

And the output would be

text
more text
more text
etc.

Is there a similar answer in php or am I stuck with this?

print "text";
print "more text";
print "more text";
print "etc.";

The reason for my question is that I need to output a complete html page and oviously it is a pain the way I have shown it above.

Yes I was once learing too, and I still am learning.

But when I have a very basic question about PHP, I look it up in the manual. Before posting questions to a forum.

Apperently you are too lazy to check the manual or search the forum, so you get an arrogant RTFM reply.

Try:

print ("mary had a little lamb
she also had a bearm
i've always seen her with her lamb,
but never seen her bear!");
