ok....i found the answer to this just the other day and should have printed it then but didnt...and now i can not seem to find it.....How do you add/insert new columns into a table...and how do you specify exactly where it is to be inserted...

See 'ALTER TABLE' for your database.
For MySQL I belive it is ALTER TABLE x ADD COLUMN y DATATYPE
