Interview To PHP Programmer

Hello to all Programmer,
I am doing the dissertation about the php, i am thinking to interview you all that about the php.... could some one kindly answer me....
1) Now days, how many company had use the php programming?
2) The comparing Php with other script language ? like JSP, ASP, CGI
3) Is the PHP more famous now?
4) What is the reason make the Php more famous?

PHP is faster, better, smarter, simpler.

No seriously though... PHP compiled as an Apache module (with the zend engine of course) is in fact faster than any other scripting language out there. (at least everything I've read recently says it is)

PHP is platform-independant. This may seem pointless.. but its not. Being able to develop my sites on my win2K machine and then upload them to the Linux server without having to worry is a big plus in my books.
