Putting info from MySQL to a PHP page?

I have a database named losbanos. It contains two tables, council and site. Council holds all of the information for the city council members of the city, and site holds all of the page and link information. How can I use the information in those two tables to be sent into a php page?

connect to the database, fetch the info with php, and display it... use html if you want to format.

what exactlly is your question??? do you just want the code to do everything?

I am guessing that you are just trying to diplay the information from two tables onto one page. Do you have a linking field between the two? If you do, using a [select * from council, site where council.linkfield = site.linkfield] should work.

There are alot of articles and posts in here about getting the information from a table onto a page in here if you need additional information. (I've used quite a bit of it myself!) But I hope this will help get you started with pulling in data from two tables.
