$ab http://localhost/stresstester.php3
ab is the apache benchmark utility i believe it comes with apache. i un debian and know it comes with the debian apache package. so what you put in stresstester.php3 is upto you. i would recomend a series of adding and deleting databases and tables also try to update insert and delete rows from a table too. if you use a -c flag you can set the level of concurency say -c 500 would allow 500 simaltaneous request to that page. this would be beneficial casue you can test mysqls response to having to deal with that.
