mysql ODBC export problem

Hi,
I have a mysql database on the server, i can import tables from mysql database into MS Access successfully, but when i try to export any table back into it I get "ODBC call failed" error message...Anyone knows why?..

the strange thing is that how can i connect database to import a table and how come i cant connect back to export it?

and someone from technical service of our hosting company told me that this is actually because of a bug in MS access2000...is it possible..?

Hi,
Mysql ODBC driver is not compatible with Access 2000.
It will work without any trouble in Access 97.

Hi,
Make sure that u r using MS-Access '97'.
Because MyODBC won't work properly with
Access 2000.

U have to install seperate MyODBC for win '95
and win 'NT

Open MS-Access , click on File menu.
U will get "Get External Data" menu.
Select import, then select ODBC database form the List in dialog box.

Then u fill the template with necessary IP address of the machine where it is residing and database name,the user name and password for it.

(While filling the template it will ask the database name to import the external data. So make sure that u have already created the database name)

It is working well for me.

If u have any problem tell me in detail
what are all the steps u r following.
