Tracing ISPs Country Name

hi buddies

could any one tell me how to trace the country name of the client from where the request for a web page has been generated.

actually i want to block few pages of a website to be viewed in number of countries.

I'm very sorry you have to do this, but if it's any comfort it's not very doable if you need 100% accuracy. That's because generic TLD's like .com can be located literally anywhere, so if the IP address the user is coming from belongs to a .com you can't know for sure.

Big Brother (and WHOIS) know where your ISP is located.

(Sorry for the cryptic response, but I don't like Big Brother style censorship. If you feel you really have a good reason for doing this, then give more details and you might get better assistance.)

Like the others said: there's no way of knowing for sure which country a request can from.
I can register a .co.uk domain and host it in switserland.

You'd have to 'traceroute' each request and 'dig' and 'whois' your way through each 'hop' to see where it came from. That's probably more work than it's worth,
plus you'll never get that done before the request from the client time's out and he assumes your site is down.

i have been having problems with someone and i need to trace them, and i can never get their ip addresss, because they will never send it to my hotmail account, how can i trace an email address or is it evan possiable??
