Error 127

Hi all there!
I got a strange error message when I tried to "select * from table1".The MySQL returned the following error message that i can't understand what means and how to solve the problem.

"ERROR 1030: Got error 127 from table handler"

How did you create the DB?

I did it by means of create table table1(...) from the MySQL prompt line.
It worked for a month or so and it got broken. When I dropped the table and recreated it it got working bu tell me how to menage in such situations 'cause dropping ins not a way out in case of comersial use of MySQL.

Maybe try upgrading to a real database server, like Microsoft SQL Server

Means you have corrupted data I think.

In your shell if in unix(or linux) type "perror 127"<RETURN> perror explains what type of error message it is.

That's all I know, I'm stuck on it as well. Just dumped 4.5million of data into a database and found the harddrive became full. The import must of crashed hence the bad data. I know, I've got a crappy 3gig old harddrive. I was experiementing.

Something to think about. Hope it helps.
