This is the only forum that i know of that may be willing to help me.

I need to know what version of MySQL i need for RedHat 6.2 on a SparcStation II... Then once i have the file or files i need, ... What do i do with them (i'm not use to linux... i ran mysql on NT but i've seen the light)

Just go to MySQL.com and download the latest version for Linux/Sparc (if there is one). Un-gzip/tar it and follow the installation instructions (usually provided in a file called README, README.[platform] or INSTALL). You will need to be root to install MySQL.

Build Apache, build PHP, run Apache, be happy. 🙂
