Access 2000 & Red Hat Linux 6.1/Apache

I have a Red Hat Linux 6.1 server running Apache Web Server.

Is it possible for me to add records to an Access 2000 database stored on the Linux server, via the Internet. Note: My client computers would all be running Windows 98SE.

Has anyone actually managed to do this?

Any help would be much appreciated & could at last allow me to go to bed at night.

I've got kind of the same problem:
my apache/linux web site receives datas from clients via forms, datas I have to store in a Access format for future treatements (windows based).

So what I plan (planed) to do is to use an Access database on a windows machine on the network and use it to receive the sql orders.
One way to do this is to use unixODBC and an
ODBC-ODBC bridge,because it seems there's no Access odbc drivers under unix.
the problem is this bridge isn't free.

I'm actually trying to find a way to put
a network path into the connection sting...

Think will try and store data in Postgresql and try to link to that using ODBC instead.
