Allowing access to my database

Hey, I need to allow someone access to edit my mySQL database, but only one table. Is there a simple solution out there (some sort of db management script perhaps) that allows this?

Or am I going to have to write my own?

You could try reading the mysql manual.

You could also try not bothering to respond without being an a-hole.

Let me further explain. I use this mysql database that is provided by my web host. I use phpmyadmin as the interface. My host will not allow more than one user per database. I only get one database.

Therefore, a web tool that would allow someone to access one table is what i'm looking for.

If this is still contained within the mysql manual, I stand corrected and will go read it. I have looked for something along those lines and can't find anything.

If you can only have one user per database, then you're pretty muched F'ed.
That user will have access to all tables.

If that other person uses your scripts to access the data, then you can create a script that requires a username and password and make that script run queries on that one table only.
But if the other user can access the db directly, there's nothing you can do.

Create a web page, as vincent said, to do the work and don't allow this other person direct access to the db.
