What Is The Max Fields For MySQL?

Just wondering the max amount of FIELDS that you can have in a MySQL database table.

i think max(field_name) will be used

There is a Max amount.. I just do not know what it is... and I was wondering.

As I recall it's somewhere around 3200 columns per table.

I know there is a limit, I've just not been able to find any information on it. 🙁

Seems the limit is 2364 columns.

But I guess by the time you reach that number of columns you need to
switch to a real RDBMS, or start to normalize the model :-)
