Setting the Next AutoIndex Value

Does anyone know how to reset/set the value of the Next Autoindex.

I've searched the documentation at MySQL.com to no avail.

I started a database, tested it, and would like]
to reset the autoindex of my primary field to ID=1

Have you tried dropping the table and recreating it?
