Query Problem

I'm trying to take a column name, userid, and match it to the corresponding column name,realname, in the same table. Userid is listed in another table name calls in which the same userid might be attached to multiple calls. What I am having difficulty with is taking the userid in calls and translating the userid to the realname.

Help would be greatly appeciated.

Try something like

select c.column1, c. column2, u.realname
from calls c, users u
where c.userid = u.userid

Not sure what you mean by c.column1 or u.realname. I understand column1 and realname, but not c. and u. Please elaborate.

the c and u are shorthand fo lazy programmers.

select calls.column1,
calls.column2,
users.realname
from calls,
users
where calls.userid = users.userid
