Win 98 file associations - please help!

Hi,

I installed a program called PHPCoder and it has been a nightmare, so I uninstalled it. However, every time I run a php script it looks for PHPCoder because the uninstall script did not remove the file associations to PHPCoder.

So my question is: does anyone know what the File Type program association should be in Windows 98 to enable me to run php scripts in IE5 with Windows Personal Web Server, mySQL for Win32 and PHP3 for Win32?

If you're running the above configuration without a 3rd party PHP editor could you please look in:

Windows Explorer -> View -> Folder Options -> File Types

and tell me what the file association is.

I have emailed PHPCoder but have not recieved a reply.

I am not 100% sure on this, but I think you want to just make *.php use php.exe (I have PHP installed in c:\PHP so its just c:\PHP\PHP.exe)

Hi James - thanks for that.
Actually I did this yesterday but like an idiot when I tested it I didn't call the php using http://localhost/ in the browser, so it appeared as though nothing happened. Durr.
