Tell PHP where mail server is HELP

Can anyone help me found where and how I would tell PHP to find the mail server on my network. We are running qmail on a different server location thant the php scripts. I just can\\\\'t seem to find out where to give the location of the server?? Or in any case what needs to be done.

You need to put it in php.ini
