PHP, mqSQL and E-mail

How can I parse an e-mail, insert the Subject and Return Address as well as the message and attachments into a mySql database?
Still kinda new at this.

First of all, what are you using for your mail system? I've done this running Qmail / Vpopmail......it's fairly simple.

I simply have a .qmail file call a script everytime mail is received, it parses out whatever i want from the mail/mail headers, stores it in a DB and voila!

Sorry, I'm not familar at all with NeoMail........the principle should be the same however, there must be some way to call external scripts when mail comes in ??
