What are the tools needed to compile Postgres in Win32 platform. What Compiler? Libraries.. etc... Also, can anybody tell me how efficient is Postgres on Win32 platform.

postgresql requires the cygwin emulation environment to build on Windows. It is reliable, but not as fast as on Linux or Unix.
