Something weird here...
I just created a new table in MySQL. The timestamp field will not accept "NOT NULL". I have set up new tables and new databases all testing why this is and regardless of what I do, whetehr it be a fresh create or an alter, I cannot get the timestamp fields to be "NOT NULL".
I have set up new tables and new databases, all of which do not allow me to make a timestamp "NOT NULL".
Could use a date field, but that defeats the ease / purpose of MySQL having a timestamp!
Checked all my existing databases and they have the same problem!
Thanks for any advice.
