html code not been displayed in browser

Hello,
I hope somebody can help me. I have a site using php4 and mysql. The site is for a general goods shop and has a list of categories which when select created a dynamic table of the selected items and displays them for viewing. It works well most of the time but in some situations (i.e. where the category appears to have more than 20 or so items )all of items returned are not displayed in the browser. The really strange thing is when I do a view source the code for the missing items it there!!! Why are they not been displayed ? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes these browsers can be real particular about whether or not a table, (<table>) or table element (<tr> or <td>) does not have a corresponding close tag.

If these close tags are not in place, often times elements of the page, or even the entire page appears blank in the browser.

Cheers for that, while taking your advice and counting my tr and /tr etc I noticed I started a table inside a while loop but finished it outside the loop. Move the /table inside the loop and now all works fine. Thanks again for your help.
