SQL server 7.0 and Windows 2000

I have SQL server 7 running on a Windows 2000 server. When I set up a user to use windows authentication it will only verify if the users name is in all capitals. Then when we try to login from a workstation is send the user name in little letters and does not log in. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? thanks.

I am developing a software using SQL Server 7.0 as a backend, using ODBC function of PHP 3.0.

Now I have faced a problem that I want to get different reports of my project.
My question is that how I can use Seagate Crystal Reports (8.0) in my PHP project for printing reports.
