php3 to php4

Hi I am hoping someone can help me out. I am a webdesigner who has just finished a site which is 80% php3 PostGreSql driven. I have recently moved the site to a new hosting company who support php4. As a result my database does not work anymore. Is there much work involved in getting the database working again? I would appreciate some advice.

Question: how are we supposed to know if you script will be difficult to port to PHP4?

There can be a thousand reasons why your database functions stopped working, and 999 of them may have nothing at all to do with PHP4.

If you gave us some of the error messages you are getting we might be able to help you.

I am not a programmer, another guy designed the database but I cannot get in contact with him. The site is www.shannonsidefm.com/index.htm

The index.htm page is html but the majority of the other links are php driven, there are no errors coming up, just a blank where the database info should be.

Sorry, can't tell anything from looking at a page with a few blanks in it :-)

Better get a PHP programmer in to check the scripts up close.
