converting excel files to postgre databa

hi to all

is there any possiblites to convert a excel files in to any database(like in oracle, postgre or Mysql). if it is possible.please explain the content with details

Of course it's possible

you got 2 way :

1- Manual way: export under Excel the file into text file separated by \t then make a function that read the file, parse it and update the database.

2-There's a library which can help u to read directly from .xls file, i 'll look for it

3-Look for the structure of XLS file and make all manually
