just to correct the author of the prevoius message. although it is not very often used, there is a MySQL distribution for Windows which works quite well for small sites. I have personally deployed one and it still works fine. BUT... I would never suggest using MySQL for anything more than a small application. I wouldn't run a mission critical app on MySQL again. did that mistake once and suffered from severe scaleablity and performance problems.
