querying ms-access(*.mdb) using php in linux

Is it possible to query an ms-access (.mdb)
file residing in linux using php. I'm doing a project for a friend's company. The company receives a database in ms access format (.mdb) from another company. I want to query this *.mdb file using php to output on their web page that's hosted using a linux web server. What's involve?

Your question is one that I have been researching. One answer lies with ODBC using DBI and Perl or PHP, with Apache. There is also an ASP driver avaliable and that might be another way to do it. I have found that adding another WinBox to the network and then using ODBC or ADO or ASP the client can query the Access Database through the Linux box is perhaps the easiest way to do it.
